Description

Combining a trip to see his grandparents with hunting down a K9 dog sounds like a good excuse at the
time to Greyson. Somehow the K9 had been accidentally flow halfway around the world in the wrong
direction and then lost. Finding the dog wasn’t easy, but Greyson follows the trail of destruction the
same as the K9 does … and finds the female shepherd protecting a mother and child … So not what he
expected.

Jessica didn’t understand why the dog was always around, but the dog was plain scary. Although not as
much as everything else going on in her life right now. Most things she blames on her ex-husband, but
was he this mean? With her toddler son to protect, she knows she can’t make a mistake that will bring
them harm.

As the events escalate, it doesn’t take long to decide who was on her side and who … wasn’t.

I love this series! I think the basis for the stories is what makes me love the books more than usual! I love dogs and the story is about finding a war dog that has been lost in the system due to unforeseen circumstances. The characters in the book interact so well and having the added benefit of there being a dog as one of the main characters grabbed my attention. This book has action and suspense and some romance too. Loved the book so much I read it in one sitting! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I don’t know how Dale Mayer does it but I fell in love with Greyson and Jessica’s story. Kona the magnificent K-9 that Grey had gone to Hawaii to look for guarding Danny and throughout all the kidnapping, break ins etc kept me on the edge of the bed wondering what was going to happen next . PS loved his grandparents too

A missing War Dog and a wounded warrior. . A single mom with a toddler and a possible stalker. The elements of a great story -- it is that and more. A romance, a mystery, suspense and protective heroes, both man and canine. A standalone tale. Another page turner from Dale Mayer. Bravo!
